Fortunately, there is an outstanding teacher of the Feldenkrais Method in our midst - Hannah Vo-Dinh. Hannah guides us through movements and visualizations that lead relatively quickly to a better state of well-being and an increase in emotional wellness. She provides an oasis in which we can relax and get in touch with ourselves. Her voice is soothing and we enter into another place where we have permission to just be ourselves and to heal. The results are almost too good to be true.

I started Feldenkrais with Hannah following a back injury and broken foot, which had seriously impaired my mobility and affected related muscles, tendons and joints. Physical therapy failed to address these total body issues and I wasn’t able to return to my previous level of exercise, which caused physical and mental distress. By following the Feldenkrais Method under Hannah’s excellent instruction, most specifically the slow mindful movement that considered the whole body relationship, I have now returned to my previous level of exercise.  I can walk without pain of any sort for up to 10 or 11 miles.  And my left shoulder which had suffered from tendonitis and “frozen shoulder” is now completely pain free and has full mobility. I was skeptical of Feldenkrais when I started, but the technique, under Hannah’s skilled instruction and her calm, centering presence has been a true blessing and revelation.
