"I've been involved with Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration since the 90's and find Hannah's mindful guidance the most spiritual I've encountered. Perhaps it's her Vietnamese Buddhist background. Perhaps her musical training and teaching. Perhaps any number of things but whatever, Hannah is rare gift to my healing as I'm sure she will be for anyone else who joins her in the adventure that Feldenkrais provides. " J.P. Muhly
From her undergraduate degree in human ecology to her work as a singer-songwriter and music teacher, Hannah brings a holistic perspective and creative spirit to her work. She encountered Feldenkrais® classes in 1990, but it wasn’t until 20 years later that she realized how helpful private sessions were for her struggle with an autoimmune form of arthritis. She completed a 4-year training program to become a Feldenkrais practitioner, and more recently trained to teach the Sounder Sleep System so that she can help her clients dissolve the vicious cycle of pain and insomnia.
Certified by the Feldenkrais Guild of North America (FGNA) to teach Awareness Through Movement® and practice Functional Integration®, Hannah maintains a thriving practice in downtown Frederick, MD and online. She has taught at Frederick Community College, Frederick County Public Libraries, Common Market, All Saints’ Episcopal and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick. She also organized the Frederick Feldenkrais Festivals and has been guest instructor at the DC and Baltimore Feldenkrais Festivals.
